Prayer is the key to SPIRITUAL Growth
We believe that prayer is the key to maintaining growth in our individual lives and together as a church. There are several ways that you can engage in prayer at Anchor Point:
We would love to pray with you and for you! Our prayer team will be available in the Volunteer Office near the front entry in between services. Look for our Prayer Team nametags.
Submit a prayer request via the connect form (found in the program each week) or via email to tammy@anchorpointchurch.org. Each week, Pastors, Elders, and members of the prayer team take time to pray, and we'd love to pray about the needs you have in your life.

Here at Anchor Point Church we believe in the power and importance of prayer. The mission of Anchor Point is to love God, love people, and make disciples of all nations. Each one of these three things are impossible without God flowing and working in our lives.
WHAT IS THE PRAYER TEAM?
Anchor Point's prayer team is a group of people who are called to pray for the work of Anchor Point, and the people in this community. As we pray together, we bring cares, concerns, and praises to God on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT I AM A GOOD FIT?
1. You have an active and growing relationship with Jesus.
2. You are humble.
3. You have a passion and desire to pray for the people of your church and your community.
4. In agreement with Anchor Point's Belief. "Beliefs" cards located at the Connection Center.
WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO DO?
There are two ways to be involved with the prayer team:
Intercessory Team
•Pray before and during the service.
•Commit to praying for the work of Anchor Point Church on a regular basis.
•Respond to individual prayer requests during the week (via email).
•Attend monthly team meetings
Care Team
•Pray for people up front during weekend services worship/response time.
•Commit to praying for the work of Anchor Point Church on a regular basis.
•Respond to individual prayer requests during the week (via email)
•Attend monthly team meetings
WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?
Two times a month for one service (9am or 10:45am service)
I'M INTERESTED! WHAT'S NEXT?
Step 1: Fill out a Connect Card located in your program or at the Connection Center expressing your interest.
Step 2: A Prayer Team Leader will contact you to answer any questions, and schedule a time to be trained in before you start to serve.
